Canoeing / Kayaking
An awesome experience is an early morning trip on the lake. Motionless water, a mystical atmosphere, the call of the loon and pure solitude.
Canoeing / kayaking is a great opportunity to spot wildlife along the lake shore.
For our guests with a half-board package the canoe / kayak is free of charge.
There are various hiking trails in the surrounding area which are easily detailed in our free trail maps. Collecting mushrooms in the spring and enjoying the beautiful and colourful flowers in the summer are just two examples of what nature has to offer.
A short stroll to the beaver pond behind the lodge is also rewarding.
How about a picnic on an idyllic island on the lake?
What about exploring the shorelines to spot wildlife such as beavers, otters, geese, moose, loons, etc.?
